1. Open Google Chrome browser

2. On the search bar, enter www.google.com

3. If you signed with multiple Gmail accounts, Click on Image and choose Sign Out of All Accounts

4. Now click on Sign in again

5. To set the default Google account in Chrome, enter your Gmail Id and Password, click on Next, and sign in to Google Account.

6. The first login Gmail account will be set as your default Google account in chrome.

7. Now sign in with another Gmail account as per requirements.

Successfully we have changed the default Google Account in the Chrome browser.

However if you log in with multiple Google Mail account in the chrome browser, the first login Gmail account will be only set as your default Google account.

For example:

  1. Here we sign out of all signed accounts
  2. Next login with Gmail account – digitguider@gmail.com (to set this Gmail as our default account in chrome)
  3. Now digitguider@gmail.com account has been set as the default google account in chrome.
  4. You can sign in with other Gmail accounts.
  5. As per the below image, digitguider@gmail.com is has been set as the default account after sign in with another Gmail account.
