4. To get a verification code, enter a phone number that you have added to your account
Note: If your Gmail account is actively login on to your Mobile device, Google will send a notification to your device and tap Yes on notification to continue.
5. You will receive a text message to the phone with 6 digits verification code that starts with G-
6. Enter the code and click on Next.
7. Now, create a strong password and click on Next.

1. Navigate to Google Account Recovery Webpage – https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
2. Enter an Email id that you want to reset password and click on Next
3. Click on the option “Try Another Way.”
4. Now choose the option “I don’t have my phone.”
5. Enter the recovery email address in the given field and click on Next. Google will show a preview of your recovery email address, and you can enter the email address to get the verification code.
6. Copy the verification code from the recovery email and paste it on the account recovery page.
7. Click on Next
8. Enter the new password and click on change password.
